September 01, 2007

Woodside Village Band - 3pm

Woodside Village Band performs at Trinity
Saturday, September 1, 3:00 pm

Composed of about 30 musicians - including Trinity's Roy and Margie Stehle - the Woodside Village Band will be performing its 20th annual Summer Concert. This will be the band's first appearance at Trinity.
You'll be treated to a program that includes works by William Schuman, Sir Arthur Sulllivan and George Gershwin - with a few marches by Sousa, Fillmore and Alford thrown in for good measure. And it's free!

Sunday Forum - 9:30am

Lindsey Crittenden - "The Water Will Hold You"

At our first weekly Forum the author of "The Water Will Hold You" will read from her book and discuss the her journey through grief into a deeper faith. The talk will be in Angus Hall.

Trinity Parishmen - Breakfast with Mike

The men of Trinity will regroup on Tuesday, Sept. 11th to restart our regular fellowship meetings, and to hear Fr. Mike tell stories of his days on the London police force. Come by Trinity Hall at 7am...the meeting will wrap-up at 8am.

Ordination and Installation Service - 4pm

The service of Ordination for Beth Foote, who will become a Deacon, transitioning toward the priesthood, and the formal Installation of Father Mike as Rector, is one big event! It all happens beginning at 4pm on Sept. 15th. The church will be crowded, so the overflow will be seated in Angus Hall with a live video and audio feed. Refreshments follw.

Harry and Shirley Hagey have generously opened their Woodside home to Holy Trinity parishioners for an evening
benefiting Social Ministries. Please join us our clergy, and the Hageys for an evening of music fun, heavy

hors d’oeuvres, wine and beverages, and games. There is a bocce ball court, table tennis, and a beautiful indoor and outdoor venue to enjoy the end of the summer.

Your donation is 100% tax deductible as the venue has been donated. Help us feed the hungry, clothe the poor, heal the sick and provide education and job training for those seeking to better their lives. Join Coach John Crevelt and friends and help the Social Ministries raise money for 2007 Outreach projects.

All Parish Brunch and Blessing of the Animals

The first of our monthly brunches is coming up on Sept. 30 at 9:30am in the courtyard. Along with a great meal we'll be blessings our pets, a Trinity tradition.
