EMBRACING THE GOLDEN RULE ON PENTECOST
The Child and Family Institute’s World Peace Village is an intergenerational experience, where children and adults, led by docents, walk together the path toward peace, tolerance and understanding. Six centers depict worship center for each of the main religious traditions—Jewish, Muslim, Native American, Christian, Hindu and Buddhist. The Golden Rule, found in the sacred teachings of each, anchors and underscores the shared core values of all the spiritual practices. As you journey through this path of peace surrounded by the spiritual tools of each tradition, a gradual awakening occurs—there can be peace.
