Our Activities
Listed below are the activities for the month of April.
April 25, 2010
Forum: Addicted to Energy - 9:30 am
A local venture capitalist, author, and dynamic speaker, Elton Sherwin will share his journey in writing his latest book, Addicted to Energy, and explain why “being green is not enough.” Bring your questions about carbon, climate change, and our role as stewards of God’s earth. Childcare will be provided.
Adventure Sunday Service - 10:30 am
A family-centered celebration of God’s great gift and our call to creation stewardship. (There will be no Sunday School, as families will worship together at this fun and casual service.)
EDEN Environmental Stewardship Fair - 11:45 am
Immediately following the service, Coffee Hour will include an EDEN fair where there will be lots of food and “food for thought” about how we use energy at home and at church.
Low-Carbon All-Parish Potluck - 6:00 pm
Food, fun, fellowship, and learning for all ages at this low-carbon all-parish potluck dinner. EDEN will be grilling delicious, low-carbon beef burgers donated by Marin Sun Farms, a local producer committed to raising pasture-based food for the Bay Area community. We ask that everyone else bring a low-carbon vegetarian dish "with roots" from either: 1) your garden, 2) a local farmer's market,or 3) your family's treasure trove of recipes.

iConfirm Celebration - 7:00 pm
Trinity Parish is proud of the eight young adults who were confirmed recently at Grace Cathedral recently. Please join them and their families, and the rest of Trinity Church, in a more intimiate and special service and celebration here at home, which will mark the conclusion of the Confirm Not Conform (CNC) program.
