Child and Family Institute
CFI creates and conducts family wellness programs, which nurture the Growth of strong, loving, communicating families in a playful, nondenominational, spiritual setting. The Institute has successfully developed a number of unique programs and is replicating them in diverse communities throughout the United States.
We were founded in 1986 at Trinity Church as an outreach to families in the community. We are a place where a family can discover and celebrate its wholeness and uniqueness through a variety of programs for children and families. All our unique programs are researched, designed and piloted by our CFI staff. This past year we had 300 families participate in 13 programs.
CFI is run as a separate entity from Trinity Parish, but Angus Hall on the Trinity Campus remains the home for CFI and the site of most programs. These programs draw families from across the area and are open to people of all faiths.
Members of our parish have always been active with CFI both as participant and teachers. Their 20 years of ministry among us has enriched our community.
