Ministries for Personal Development and Fellowship
Making the Journey Together...
We believe that we are all called to be ministers to one another. We grow in Christ in both the giving and the receiving. At Trinity, there are many ways to devote yourself to an active ministry and benefit from the ministries of others.
Family Ministry
The mission of the Family Ministry at Trinity is to provide Christian education programs and resources that foster faith formation and contribute toward strong families who are God-centered. Our programs assist parents, children (birth to 10 years) and extended family as well as the community.
Education and Christian Formation
Programs of Christian Education for both children and adults are the most frequent activity at Trinity. Many are organized by other commissions (like Family Ministries) but you can learn about all of them at the Education Ministries page. Special pages cover the Sunday School, Bible Study and Book Club activities.
The OWLS Commission
The mission of the OWLS (Older, Wiser, Laity in Service) is to enrich the spiritual and personal life of the "Elders" of Trinity Parish. We maintain traditions like our well-attended Friday lunches with speakers, and we constantly look for new and interesting ways to further our spiritual and social fellowship.
Women of Trinity
Women of Trinity: Freeing women to work on their spirits, their lives, and their communities, providing opportunities for spiritual growth, developing leadership, giving voice to issues of critical importance, and welcoming new women into the life of the church.
Youth Ministry
Trinity Youth Ministries aims to help young people in grades 6 though 12 develop their faith and address the many challenges of the journey to adulthood. Ranging from structured programs to informal get-togethers and trips, these activities provide a place to have fun, meet friends and grow.
Music Ministry
We have made music a central part of Trinity Parish life. Whether you want to hear music, make music, or learn about music, Trinity has what you are looking for. In addition to the adult choirs and bands, we have two children's choirs and the classes of the Trinity Music School. Whatever your experience level, there is a place for you in the Trinity Music program! Visit the Music Ministry at Trinity.
Trinity Parishmen
Once a month the men of Trinity Parish meet for dinner; to enjoy each others' company and take on some subject related to spiritual or church matters. Many meetings include a guest speaker. We are not afraid to take on a controversial subject. So...fellowship, discussion, involvement in the issues of the day and the millenium (we've taken the long view), and good food!
