Trinity Parish Family Ministries
Faith and Fellowship
Holiday Festivals, Faith-Formation Classes, Inter-Generational Celebrations, and More!
In addition to our Family Service and Sunday school program, children, parents, and the extended Trinity family have the opportunity to participate in many wonderful faith formation and community-building events. These range from cherished traditions like our Advent Wreath–Making Dinner to more casual gatherings like summer barbecues and even our special “Blessing of the Animals” (stuffed ones, included!) event on St. Francis Day.
What happens at the festivals?

Our festivals, such as All Saints’ Day, are held periodically throughout the year, often in conjunction with church holy days. Marked by special food and arts and crafts, they enable children—and their parents— to learn about the church and celebrate their faith in a fun and festive environment.
Are there programs just for parents?
During the year, Trinity offers a variety of classes and discussion groups for parents, many of which are held after the Family Service, while the children are in Sunday school. Some classes meet for a single session, while others span several weeks. Recent topics have included: Lenten Preparation, Love & Logic Parenting, and Unplug the Christmas Machine.
Are there opportunities to just socialize with other families?
Connect with other families at the parish’s Third Sunday Suppers and occasional family-oriented barbecues.
