Trinity Parish Ministries and Commissions
Parishmen

The Trinity Parishmen provides a monthly forum where men of the parish can meet for a meal, fellowship, and discussion of some relevant topic of interest. Anyone that wants to share in the journey: experience some fellowship, good food, and presentations that feed the mind and soul should be a part of Trinity Parishmen.
What's the Time and Talent Commitment?

By design, the demands on time and talent are kept to a minimum, and importantly, shared amonst the group. To be a "member" one need only show up for a monthly meal and enjoy the company of the other men of the parish.
We have been rotating between breakfast meetings and dinners, but in either case, the routine is simple. We gather in the parish hall kitchen, cook a meal together, and then share it. There is often much "hanging-about" in the kitchen with beverages appropriate to the mealtime. Throughout the cooking and the dining there is always good conversation. All-in-all a very efficient process; Minimum fuss, Maximum enrichment and enjoyment!
There is no formal leadership of the group. Volunteer assignments for the upcoming meeting are arranged at the prior meeting or by email, and usually everyone pitches in.
When and Where Do You Meet?
Usually the second Tuesday of the month, alternating between dinner (6pm start) and breakfast (7am start). Meetings begin in the Trinity Hall kitchen. Often we will declare a discussion topic and might prepare a short program. Once in a while we are joined by a speaker on a topic of interest.

The Parishmen also host the annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, and pitch-in in support of other parish activities through the year.
