Our Interim Rector has been found!
God has blessed our parish with a new spiritual leader! At the August meeting the Vestry voted unanimously to call the Reverend Anne Jensen to be our Interim Rector. Anne is an experienced Interim, having served seven Connecticut congregations as Interim Pastor. She brings to us her gifts of spiritual teaching, healing presence, and pastoral care. Anne also has experience in youth and childrens' ministries. She will lead our parish through this transitional period as we discern together who we are and where Christ is leading us. She will prepare us for our new permanent rector.
Anne was educated here, receiving an AB and MA from Stanford, she earned her MDiv at Yale.
Anne and her husband, Douglas, have recently moved to Oakland. They have three adult children, two grandchildren, and a third grandchild on the way. Anne is a trained spiritual director. In her free time she enjoys gardening, walking, and cooking.
Anne's ministry at Trinity Parish begins on Tuesday, September 6. She looks forward to meeting everyone at the September 11th Homecoming Festival.
Please be sure to indroduce yourselves and make Anne and Douglas feel at home with us!
