Vestry Update

The vestry has been busy at work with our exciting new changes at Trinity! Here is an update of our September meeting:
• Attendance at Sunday services is up about 3% from last year, primarily due to growth in our new 10:30 am “Joy” Service.

• A Forum Commission will be formed to come up with ideas and contact prospective speakers for our Sunday forums.

• We are in need of youth leaders! These parishioners will assist Chris & Megan (our new youth directors) with running activities and facilitating small groups at both Sunday morning and Sunday evening youth gatherings. Please contact Chris at cmprobasco@gmail.com if you feel called to this important ministry.

• The Rev. Frannie Hall Kieschnick* has rejoined the Trinity Staff. In her part-time, non-stipendiary role, Frannie will be preaching, celebrating, doing pastoral care, and working with the Women of Trinity.

• The Draft 2008 Trinity Budget Overview was discussed.

• A schedule for the 2008 Pledge Campaign was distributed. The Stewardship Commission’s goal is to increase both participation numbers and average pledge dollars. Pledge Sunday will be November 18th.

• Vestry continued to work on the Mission/Vision Statement for Trinity Parish.
