Advent Mood Lighting at the 10:30 Joy Service

This season we invite you and your family to light a votive candle or two as you enter the church at the 10:30 service and place it on one of the window ledges. The contrast of light and dark is one of the classic themes of Advent; we’re moving into the darkest season of the year, and candles are an ancient invocation of the light of Christ that is about to come into the world.

Advent at Sunday School

We will have Sunday School the first four Sundays of December. There is no Sunday School on Dec. 30. Our pageant will be very similar to last year's, with children playing an integral role as narrators and actors. The casting time will be at 9:30 on December 9th, and there will be two rehearsals on December 16 and 23rd, after the 10:30 service. I'd like to have a supply of simple costumes for visiting children...
