The "Older, Wiser Laity in Service" (OWLS) of Trinity meet monthly. Our mission is to provide interesting speakers, a hot luncheon meal, and fellowship. Past topics have included genealogy, the history of church vestments, and field trips to local gardens.

The OWLS meet on the second Friday of every month at Trinity, September through May, except in December.  Meeting dates and topics are included on the church's
 upcoming events page.

(as of August 26, 2021)

We are planning to meet safely in Angus Hall at noon, once again, on the second Fridays of the month, for a complimentary box lunch (donations welcome), a speaker, and fellowship.
Even if you have never come to an OWLS program and lunch, please consider joining us whenever you feel like wonderful friendship, an interesting presentation, and a delicious catered meal from Luttickens on the Alameda.  Bring a friend, a neighbor, a guest, or a parishioner who might enjoy coming for the first time.  All we need is to know how many are coming each month so we have enough food.

More information will be in our weekly email Newsletter, beginning in October!

This is the proposed schedule for the 2021-2022 year:
NOVEMBER 12: Kathy Terry will do another fantastic interactive art talk with photos of American, California, and floral paintings, just in time to help celebrate Veterans Day.  If we are still not able to meet in person, she has the presentation on her computer & we could zoom.

JANUARY 14: Matinee movie day: “A United Kingdom” about Botswana and the couple who married to lead the country.

FEBRUARY 11: Mani Mortezai, “Tailored Transitions” on how to downsize!

MARCH 11: OMG musicians will come talk about how they each got started with music and perform for us.

APRIL 8: Rev. Skip Bushee will speak on Iran, after a trip there pre-COVID, giving us a history and perspective on the nation.

MAY 13: We have a few ideas for the last month of the OWLS year!! Stay tuned!
Watch for details and further information in the weekly Trinity bulletins about monthly events!

Blessings to all of you in our parish community!
