Children's Formation:

This past Sunday, April 15 - Our Godly Play children discovered Jesus in the Synagogue and the Upper Room and our little ones played hard in the nursery.

This coming Sunday, April 22 - Our Preschool-2nd graders will try to find Jesus even in his absence. Our lesson will draw from Mark 16:1-7, Matthew 28:1-8, Luke 24:1-11, John 20:1-10. Our 3rd-5th graders have the opportunity to serve in worship as ushers, readers, or acolytes. We’ll have childcare for our youngest Trinitarians in the nursery.

**If 3rd-5th graders want to read or acolyte they should contact Aaron before Sunday and plan to arrive by 9:30 AM Sunday morning. If they want to usher or bring the bread and wine forward we will sort that out just before the service begins.**

Child & Parent Mindfulness for Everyday Life
Parenting Workshop for Parents and Youth (age 11-15)

Trinity is extremely fortunate to have physician and mindfulness expert, Dr. Amy Saltzman, coming to lead a parent-child class for youth ages 11-15 and their parents.  Both a trained MD and a practitioner of holistic medicine, she is a mother and author of A Still Quiet Place: A Mindfulness Program for Teaching Children and Adolescents to Ease Stress and Difficult Emotions.  Dr. Saltzman’s research, some of which was conducted at Stanford, has convinced her that there are concrete steps parents and children can take to help children navigate these formational years between childhood and adulthood with calm and resilience.
