Audio Sermons and Podcasts

Now you can hear the great preaching at Trinity Parish even if you cannot make it to church! Audio recordings of sermons are now becoming available on this web site .

You can access the audio in two ways. When the audio is available for a sermon, a link in the journal entry for a sermon will take your browser directly to the audio file (mp3 format). Many browsers will download and play the recording automatically. You may also download the file to your computer and listen to it with whatever audio player you prefer.

You can also subscribe to the Trinity Sermons Podcast! Podcasting is a new way to receive content (usually audio) over the web that is exploding in popularity. With a software application called a podcast "reader", you can subscribe to the podcast. This means that each update is automatically downloaded to you computer for listening at your convenience.

One of the most popular tools for listening to podcasts is iTunes from Apple. The iTunes player is available free here. You do not need to purchase music through the iTunes on-line store to use the popular music player. The program is among the best for listenign to cds, and music digitized from cds as well as podcasts. If you own an iPod or other digital music player you can upload our sermons to your player and take a sermon on the road!

How to Subscribe:

Most podcasting software requires you to enter, or paste-in the url of the podcast "feed". In iTunes 6, select the Advanced menu, and then "Subscribe to Podcast." Then cut and paste in the URL.
