NOTE ON CORPORATE MATCHING FUNDS:
If you work for a company that matches your charitable contributions, it might be possible for Trinity to be a recipient of those funds. If that is possible, please inform Trinity so we can watch for the match. Please note that while some companies will not provide matching funds to churches at all, others will, providing those funds are not used for church operations or explicitly religious purposes. In those cases, matching funds cannot be applied to your pledge, but are directed to support our Outreach activities.
Trinity is a registered charity with Benevity, which manages Corporate Matching Funds for a number of Silicon Valley companies.
NOTE ON GIVING THROUGH QCDs (for those over 70 1/2 years of age):
If you are planning your IRA withdrawal strategy, you may want to consider making a charitable donation through a QCD. A QCD is a direct transfer of funds from your IRA custodian, payable to a qualified charity like Trinity. QCDs can be counted toward satisfying your required minimum distributions (RMDs) for the year, as long as certain rules are met.
In addition to the benefits of giving to Trinity, a QCD excludes the amount donated from your taxable income, which is unlike regular withdrawals from an IRA. Keeping your taxable income lower may reduce the impact to certain tax credits and deductions, including Social Security and Medicare.
Also, QCDs don't require that you itemize, which due to the recent tax law changes, means you may decide to take advantage of the higher standard deduction, but still use a QCD for charitable giving. Please contact your IRA Administrator for further information.
By choosing from the links below, you can access Trinity's online giving system. This system allows you to make one-time contributions without setting up an account, if you wish. Or, by setting up an account, you can schedule payments automatically (which you may modify or stop at any time), as well as make occasional one-time contributions to special funds or projects. Setting up an account also gives you access to your giving history, so you can check your donation records at any time. Through Trinity Online Giving, you can use a credit or debit card, or set up an ACH/eCheck transaction directly from your bank account.
Christmas Outreach Project

For 2017 Trinity will partner with Ecumenical Hunger Program and their Family Sharing Program by providing new gifts and gifts cards for critical needs families. Sign up here.
Online donations below
November 18th through December 9th
Contact Timi Most for more information.
Note: After setting up a new account, you may not be able to view your giving history
until your accont has been "matched" with the appropriate record.
This is a security step, and usually happens within 24 hours.
If you have previously set up a Fellowship One account, you do not need
to set up a new account.
Making a Pledge
The vast majority of Trinity's financial support is generated by pledges from our members and friends. Each fall, we ask you to make your financial pledge to the church for the coming year. More information about our most recent stewardship campaign is available HERE, and if you wish to make a pledge, you can complete an online pledge card HERE.
It is our partnership together, as a community, that helps us build up the Body of Christ in this place, and fulfill our mission to be a refuge for those looking for a spiritual home. Together, we are a community of seeking souls with a heart for justice, always striving to be open to the spirit in this time and place.
You may make a contribution to Trinity as a gift or in fulfillment of your pledge by making a stock transfer. Stock transfers are processed for the church through our account at Schwab, and are sold as soon as possible once the Treasurer is made aware of the transfer. The final value of the gift will depend on the value of the stock at the time of sale. Your statement of giving from Trinity will be updated to reflect that gift after the stock sale has been completed, or you may ask the Treasurer to inform you of the value once the transaction is completed.
In order to make a stock transfer, your financial institution will need Trinity’s Schwab account number. To obtain the information you need, or if you have questions about stock transfers, please contact the Treasurer: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Trinity Legacy Society is dedicated to helping secure the future ministry of Trinity Church by growing the church's Endowment Fund. Members of the Legacy Society have remembered Trinity in their estate planning, or have given a gift to the Endowment Fund that is a multiple of their annual pledge. The Legacy Society also encourages the people of Trinity to be thoughtful about their end of life plans. To learn more about the Legacy Society, please click here.
Thank you for your support of Trinity Church.
