In August, 2018, the Vestry approved a proposal for Trinity to become a pilot congregation for a new initiative that aims at showing each of us how we can help the planet and work to combat climate change. Originating in the Diocese of California and with our bishop, the Rt. Rev. Marc Andrus, the initiative was endorsed by the General Convention of The Episcopal Church in the summer of 2018. The two and a half minute video above is a presentation made on Celebration Sunday about the program - click on the symbol in the lower right corner, after starting the video, if you would like to make the video screen bigger.
On Sunday, October 21, there will be a training session in Angus Hall at 11:30 am to learn about this web-based tool that can help us each do our part to care for the planet, and help us see how we as a faith community are collectively contributing to reducing our carbon footprint.
