Part of Trinity's Spiritual Formation Program
This year (2019-2020), the theme of the Rector's Class is Our Stories and the Sacred Story. It is a season in which we will explore how our stories connect to the sacred story, and how the sacred story, in turn, reshapes and remakes our stories.
To begin, we will be looking at the latest iteration of Rev. Matthew's writing project, which has been revised and expanded, and which has as its central theme this relationship between our personal stories and the larger sacred stories. It is based on the idea that stories are really what create us, give us identity, and provide meaning. Outside of storytelling, we really don't know or understand anything. It is a principle found at the heart of the sacred story, as the Bible imagines creation coming into being as God "tells" its story. When we have finished with our exploration of Rev. Matthew's writing project, we will move on to look at other writings that approach this same theme. More details on those will be available later.

Current Year Class Recordings (2018-2019, 2019-2020)
Please note that due to technical problems, some recordings were lost in 2018-2019. If a recording is not shown below for a particular date, it means the recording for that date is not available. We believe that we have resolved this problem as of January 30, and hope that there will be no more lost recordings from that date forward.
