February 23 - Reclaiming EDEN Event
Join with Trinity clergy and staff at 11:30 am in Trinity Hall, for a town hall-style conversation with Liore Milgrom-Gartner, Northern California Director at California Interfaith Power & Light. We’ll learn what faith communities across the country have accomplished as good stewards of creation, what changes might be feasible for Trinity, and how the process of change could work. Reclaiming Eden is Trinity’s response to the climate crisis, and addresses the Signs of Life “core longing” of “More relevance, in terms of how we connect our faith life to the life of the world.” Trinity is a congregational member of California Interfaith Power & Light.
February 25 - Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper & Children's Ash Tuesday Service
Every year on Mardi Gras - the day before Ash Wednesday - the Trinity community gathers for an evening of pancakes and fun in Trinity Hall. Join us at 6:00 pm for dinner, pancake races, and more! Around 6:30 pm we will have a children's Ash Tuesday Service with the imposition of ashes and a short service geared toward our children (parents are welcome, and you can eat before or after the service -- or both!).
February 26 - Ash Wednesday Services
On Ash Wednesday, we will have three services at 7:30 am, Noon, and 7:30 pm, all in the Chapel. Choose the service that fits best with your schedule.
March 1 - First Sunday in Lent

March 7 - Boy Scout Troop 206 Annual Pancake Breakfast
They’re back! Those awesome boys in scout uniforms serving up the flapjacks as only the scouts can do it. Menlo Park/Atherton’s Boy Scout Troop 206 will be serving your favorites at their annual all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. Griddlecakes from their fabulous formula 206, savory sausages, fruit, assorted juices, coffee and tea are on the menu. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm at Trinity Hall. Cost is $5 for adults or 2 children under 8. Cub scouts in uniform eat free! Troop 206 is the Boy Scout Troop that Trinity has sponsored for a number of years, and they appreciate your support.
March 13 - OWLS Program
Please join us on Friday, March 13th at 12:00 pm in Angus Hall, as we welcome our own retired, but still active, Trinity clergyman Skip Bushee. Last year he had a large audience attending his talk on the Holy Land and his tour there. This year he will speak to us about his trip to Iran in April and May of 2018. Iran is very much in the news these days; in fact, Skip was there on the day Trump abrogated the nuclear agreement. You will learn about the incredibly friendly and hospitable Iranian people and the surprising freedom women enjoy there. The slide show will cover much of the varied country from Tabriz in the north, to Tehran in the middle, to the southern cities of Kerman, Yazd, Shiraz and Isfahan. You will hear about the many ancient civilizations, “visiting" the ancient sites of Persepolis and Pasargadae. You will learn about cultures still tolerated in Iran, including Zoroastrians, Jews and Armenian orthodox Christians. RSVP to Alecia in the Church Office by email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 326-2083 ext. 2 or so we can order enough food for everyone attending. We will look forward to welcoming you! PLEASE NOTE: There will not be an OWLS Lunch in April because April 10th is Good Friday so our next luncheon will be Friday, May 8th).
