April 29 - Rebuilding Together                                     
Every year we gather for a day of service to remodel and make improvements to the home of someone in need. All skill levels welcome! Please save the date and contact John for more information: krefeldsawards@gmail.com 


 

April 30 - Camp Sunday
During the 10 am service will be be bringing the spirit of summer camp to our worship! Join us for camp songs and and learn more about Episcopal summer camp opportunities in our area.


April 30 - Godly Play for Parents Workshop

During our 10 a.m. service, parents of children in our Godly Play program are invited to our Godly Play room to experience a full Godly Play session. The session will run at the same time as the children’s session but in the smaller Godly Play room.

 

May 6 - Silent Retreat

Rev. Elizabeth will be hosting space for silent retreat and reflection on the Trinity campus from 1 pm - 4 pm. There will be opportunities for both walking and sitting meditation, as well some meditation teaching for those who want to start their meditation practice. For more information contact Rev. May 7 - Nursery Playdate

Families of our nursery children are invited to play together in the Meadow Room from 9 - 10 am. This will be a fun opportunity for our youngest children to get to know our childcare workers and other families with young children.  Contact Elise Jones for more information.


 

May 7 - Outreach Meeting

Outreach will meet in the library following the 10 am service to discuss plans for our summer work with Home and Hope as well as any other outreach opportunities the community wants to explore. All are welcome to join!


 

May 9th - Family Community Service Opportunity with New Creations Home
As part of our Family Ministries spring outreach, we are partnering with 
New Creations Home Ministries in East Palo Alto to provide meals and childcare for the mothers and children they serve. On March 14, April 11 and May 9 at 5:15 pm, Trinity Church families are invited to prepare and serve dinner to New Creations Home mothers and children. After the meal at 6:30 pm, there will be a parenting presentation for the mothers. Our families are invited to care for their children so they can focus on the presentation. Our children can bring one or more of their favorite books to donate and spend time reading to the younger children too. Sign up using this link: New Creations Home Sign Up.


 

May 12 - Older, Wiser, Laity in Service

Join the OWLS to hear from our Trinity Music Director, Ron Valentino! After lunch the group will be treated to a musical extravaganza with Juilliard-trained baritone Brian Leerhuber and soprano Susan Powers. RSVP for lunch with Alecia in the office.


 

May 14 - Explorers at 10 am Service

Our Explorers (4th and 5th graders) will be participating in a variety of ways in the 10 am service. They will serve as oblaters, readers, crucifiers, ushers and more! 


 

May 21 - Festival of Music 

Join us for the annual celebration of the many musical offerings at Trinity! Our choir, bluegrass, OMG, bells, and special musicians will be showcasing their talents at the 10 am service.


 

May 21 - Children’s Programs End of Year Celebration

After the 10 am service, children and families in our Godly Play and Explorers rooms are invited to celebrate the end of the church school year! This will be the last day of children’s education programming until Summer Sunday School starts in July.


 

May 21 –Graduate Recognition/End-of-the Year Party                         
In the morning during worship, we will honor those of our youth group who are graduating and beginning new phases of their lives. Later that day, we will celebrate all of those in Youth Group and all that we have done over the past year. Please
let Patrick know if you have a graduate to honor that day.


 

May 21 - Women’s Retreat Planning Meeting

Join the Women of Trinity following the 10 am service in Angus Hall to begin visioning and brainstorming for the 2018 Women’s Retreat. To learn more contact Rev. Elizabeth Riley.

 

 

June-August – Youth Group Monthly Summer Meetings and Outings                
Youth group usually goes on break for the summer but  we recognize that some of our youth will be around and may still want to enjoy having time together. So this year we will offer monthly meetings and outings starting in June and going through August. A schedule for these dates will be announced soon. For more

June 4 - Pentecost Sunday

We will be celebrating the Feast of Pentecost! This is a traditional Sunday for baptisms, if you are interesting in being baptized or becoming a member please contact the clergy. Elise will be holding a special program for our children during the 10 am service.

 

June 12 - Trinity Sunday

Join us to celebrate Trinity’s feast day! There will be a special program during the 10 am service for children. 

 

June 17-24 – Youth Group Mission Trip Washington D.C.                  
 
About ten members of the youth group will travel to our nation’s capital for a week of mission work serving those in need. They will also be touring historic and important places and explore the relationship between faith and politics. And of course, there will be fun!

 

June 18-July 2 - Home and Hope                                 
For two weeks we host several homeless families in Trinity Hall: providing meals, games for kids, community, and support. Volunteers  of all ages are needed to help make all this happen! Please get in touch with

July 9 - 30 - Summer Sunday School

Every Sunday during our 10 am service, children ages 4 - 10 years old will learn about what makes the church go around. They will be hearing from different people who serve in our church in a variety of capacities, like our rector, our vestry, acolytes, the Flower and Altar Guilds. August 11 - Older Wiser Laity in Service Summer Picnic

The annual OWLS picnic will be at Trinity Church in our beautiful courtyard! Join us at noon to gather again before the program year begins. All ages welcome! Contact the Trinity Office for more information or to RSVP.
